Nov.16-2010---NEW YORK --Gold slipped Tuesday as its inflation-hedge allure dimmed and the exchange where it is traded planned to raise the margin required for buying and selling the metal. The dollar has been gaining on worries about sovereign debt in the euro-zone periphery. A stronger dollar tends to pressure gold by making the dollar-denominated metal less expensive for buyers using other currencies.
