Nov-08-2010--Giving back a slice of last week's big gains, stocks sputtered out of the gate Monday morning amid a strengthening US dollar. the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 54.50 points, or 0.46%, to 11391.02, the Standard & Poor's 500 dropped 5.24 points, 0.43%, to 1220.61 and the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.65 points, or 0.03%, to 2578.34.
